Academics

At Perry-Worth Elementary, we are committed to providing diverse, engaging, and student-centered learning experiences that meet the needs of every student. Our goal is to create a strong academic foundation while encouraging creativity, collaboration, and a lifelong love of learning.

Core Curriculum

We follow Indiana Academic Standards to guide our instruction in:

  • English/Language Arts

  • Mathematics

  • Science

  • Social Studies

Instruction is designed to be rigorous, relevant, and responsive to student needs.

Special Area Classes

In addition to core academics, students participate weekly in:

  • Music

  • Art

  • Physical Education

  • Media/Library

  • STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math)

These classes enrich the student experience and allow every child to discover and develop their interests and talents.

Personalized Learning & Support

  • Exceptional Needs: We offer specialized support and accommodations to meet the needs of students with learning differences through our special education services.

  • High Ability: Identified high-ability students receive differentiated instruction and enrichment opportunities that challenge them to think critically and creatively.

  • Intervention & Support Services: Targeted interventions help students who need additional academic or behavioral support through small-group instruction and evidence-based programs.
